Dangal Will Not Be Released In Pakistan

Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan’s forthcoming movie Dangal is not going to release in Pakistan, contrary to some media reports that the Dangal will have a theatrical screening in Pakistan. Cinemas in Pakistan yesterday began screening Indian films, for the last two months, after the movie exhibitors and theater owners suspended, it amidst Indo-Pak tensions at LoC flowing the Uri attack.
Sources say that Pakistan has suffered the loss of 150 million and around 100 employees lost their jobs due to non-screening of India movies in Pakistan.
It was also reported that Aamir Khan’s biographical sports-drama will be released in Pakistan. However, the spokesperson of the distributors of the film released a statement and confirmed that Dangal will not be releasing in Pakistan and any news reports regarding the contrary are false.
Dangal is made on the life of ace wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat and the journey of his daughter Geeta and Babita Phogat. Aamir is seen in the role of Phogat and also Sakshi Tanwar, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Sanya Malhotra is seen prominent roles. Nitesh Tiwari has helmed this project and it is scheduled to hit the screens on December 23.
