Bollywood film makers Sanjay Leela Bhansali is busy shooting for his upcoming film Padmavati. Currently, the unit is canning a few important scenes of the film in Jaipur. While the unit is filming a few scenes, a local organization has barged the location and stalled the shoot.
Going into details, activists of a local organization called Karni Sena on Friday stopped the shoot for allegedly distorting historical facts. The main protest is that makers are distorting historic facts about Padmavathi and wrongly showing facts of history. The Vikran Singh, a Karni Sena activist said that he met the director of the film.
Deepika Padukone is seen playing as the queen Padmavathi opposite Shahid Kapoor. Alauddin Khili is essayed by Ranveer Singh. The interesting aspect is that Deepika and Ranveer will not be shot together in this film and it is expected to hit the screens during summer in 2017.
After 'Bajirao Mastani', Bhansali has wielded the megaphone for this period drama which is made with rich production values. We heard that recently, while the unit was canning a few crucial scenes, set worker died and Bhansali has paid a huge sum to the bereaved family. More details of the flick yet to be announced by the makers.
