Bhansali Productions clarifies the cloud of misunderstandings

Bhansali’s upcoming movie Padmavati has landed in controversy and today he clarified the cloud of misunderstandings that arose with the protests of Rajput Groups against the filming of the movie.
With the rising protests against the content of the movie, Bhansali Productions has said to Rajput groups that the film in no way contains any romantic dream sequences between Rani Padmavati and Alauddin Khilji in the film.
CEO Shobha Sant and Associate Producer Chetan Deolekar, as representatives from the movie banner have met office associates of all the social organisations under Shree Rajput Sabha in Jaipur in order to convey their message regarding the content of the movie.
The statement issued by the Bhansali Productions said that, “The misunderstanding they had on the content of the film has been cleared and clarified. We have clearly stated that there is no romantic scene or song or dream sequence between Rani Padmavati and Allauddin Khilji.”
The statement further added that, “Shri Giriraj ji Lotwara, President of Shree Rajput Sabha has been extremely helpful in bringing the various Rajput organisations, including the Karni Sena, Sangh Shakti, Pratap Foundation, Bhawani Niketan together to clarify this.”
The representatives of Bhansali Productions said that they are much thankful to Shri Giriraj ji Lotwara, president of Shree Rajput Sabha for allowing them to convey their clarifications to the various organisations under it.
Earlier this week, the movie director and other film crew have gotten into a fight with the members from Rajput Karni Sena, who halted the shoot of the film by accusing that the movie involves distorting historical facts and contains scenes that show Alauddin Khilji as obsessed with Rani Padmavati.
Under the production banners of Viacom 18 Motion Pictures and Bhansali Productions, the movie is slated to be released in the coming November this year.
