Bhajiawala has property worth 600 crore

A man who started his career as a tea and snack turned to be one of the biggest financiers of Gujarat and he was under the scan of Income Tax authorities, come to trace 600 crores undeclared assets belonging to him and his family. So far, IT Sleuths found jewelry worth Rs. 10.5 crore and seized from home and bank lockers.
Going into details, the 50-year-old Kishore Bhajiyawala started as a small time tea and snacks two decades ago in Surat. As his business grew, he entered into money-lending and real estate businesses. He maintains communication with high profile people as his photographs with prominent BJP leaders including former Chief Minister Anandiben Patel and Union minister Purshottam Rupala have been circulated on social media.
The inquiry has started as he deposited one crore in his bank account after the currency has been banned on November 8. The raids have started on December 13 and official were shocked to know his assets, gold, and cash which would be more than 600 crores.
According to IT Department, 6.5 crore cash has been seized from his home and office in Udhana area. 1.4 crore in the new 2000 crore notes. It was also reported that 50 kg gold and diamonds worth Rs. 1.39 crore in more than 12 bank lockers. More than 40 bank accounts in the names of his member of the family and associates. Mr. Bhajiawala is not interested to talk about the matters seemingly.
