19 female fetuses found buried in Sangli, Maharashtra

Maharashtra: While investigating the case of 26-year-old women who died after an abortion in Dr. Babasaheb Khidrapure private hospital, the Sangli Superintendent of Police had unveiled about the conspiracy of the female feticides.
According to Datta Shinde, the police official had recovered 19 female fetuses that were discarded near the stream in Sangli district on 28th February.
Sunil Jadhav the father of the deceased pregnant women had lodged a complaint in the police station against the victim's husband Pravin Jamdade who had approached him to convince about the future abortion of his wife. Despite his objection, Pravin went ahead with his abhorrent abortion plan and carried it to the final stage killing his wife eventually.
Sangli police had registered a case against Pravin Jamdade and the accused Homoeopathic practitioner who had performed the illegal abortion on the woman.
