Fuel Rates Hiked Everyday in 5 Cities Today Onwards

The petrol and diesel rates have been altered likely by today, 1st May 2017 in a few selected Indian cities that are in sync with the global prices similar to the advanced markets. Big petroleum company merchants like Indian Oil Corp (IOC), Bharat Petroleum Corp Ltd (BPCL) and Hindustan Petroleum Corp Ltd (HPCL) that own more than 95% of stakes nearly 58,000 petrol pumps in India; have initiated this pilot project to keep a revised check on fuel costs daily in 5 nominated places from Monday onwards. This scheme will later be implemented in other Indian states and metropolitans as well.
The IOC had informed in a statement that the petrol and diesel hike program are already progressed from Puducherry, Vizag in Andhra Pradesh, Udaipur in Rajasthan, Jamshedpur in Jharkhand and Chandigarh. IOC later declared that the customers can confirm the prices amended on a day-to-day basis by downloading the company app or logging on their website.
