Indian-born Kevin Michel wins over Brendon Grylls in Australian Election

MELBOURNE: Kevin Michel an Indian-born Labor party candidate from Pilbara region had recently rallied on a platform for offering employment in the iron and ore production. This Indian origin business whizz had literally knocked down Brendon Grylls of the Nationals Party with a striking 13.7 percent swing.
On March 11 the Western Australia state election was primarily held to elect and absorb the stalwart members of the state Parliament for all the 59 seats in Legislative Assembly and other 36 seats in the Legislative Council.
During his colossal campaign, he had delivered a sparkling speech saying: "Without the mining companies, there is no community, It was the first time I had ever seen red sand and rocks, and I fell in love with the place."
