ISIS Attacks Pakistan’s Holy Sufi Lal Shahbaz Qalandar Shrine, Many Worshippers Killed

SINDH: More than 100 of the devotees were reported to have killed and 250 injured as a result of the massive suicide attack that took place in the Lal Shahbaz Qalandar Shrine situated in the southern Sindh province of Pakistan.

The Islamic State ISIS had taken the responsibility of targeting the holy tomb on Thursday when more than 800 devotees had gathered to perform a Sufi ritual inside the century-old holy Sufi tomb situated in Shehwan village.

The Pakistan’s police administrative department and the army chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa had started further investigations on the terrorist attack. The officials had stated in an interview about the recent explosion that happened to have been the fifth serial attack in the country in the time span of one week.

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had expressed his deep condolences on the brutal incident that had claimed many innocent lives of the pious worshippers.
