Complaint Lodged Against B-Town Producer Karim Morani

Hyderabad police have registered a rape case against Bollywood producer Karim Morani after a girl approached Rachakonda police commissioner Mahesh Bhagwat on January 8. LB Nagar deputy commissioner of police Tafseer Iqbal has been personally supervising the case. According to reports, the case was registered under Indian Penal Code sections 417, 376,342,506,493 and 354.

Morani’s spokesperson squashed the reports and stated, “complaint against Morani is a false and it is sole intention to damage his reputation. He is fair and has faith in the judiciary. He is ready to co-operate with authorities.” The victim in her complaint mentioned that she met Morani at friend’s wedding in Delhi in the month of December 2014. He happens to be bride’s uncle and they had interacted during the time.

The girl said that when she expressed her interest in working in films, he exploited her many a times. The girl also said that when he came to Ramoji Film City, he asked her to come and exploited her. Finally, she had to approach police and seek the support from them.
