Talking about the taking over of AIADMK reins by J Jayalalithaa’s close aide Sasikala Natarajan, she said that she could not think of anyone else other than herself to lead the followers of the late J Jayalalithaa. She said that, “I cannot accept anyone else in Jayalalithaa's position.”
Regarding her joining of the AIADMK party or whether she starts her own political party and will begin her political career, she said that before taking such a decision, she has to discuss with her aides in political cadre and other close people, and only then she can announce those matters, she said.
She described in her blog about her relationship with the late J Jayalalithaa that, “As a blood relative, I wanted to be with her in her most trying times as she was the person I loved the most and I always wanted to be with. I was even looked upon by many as heir apparent to my aunt.”
