O Pannerselvam had to take an oath of being a Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu when the late chief minister of the state underwent treatment. Recently, he resigned the post of chief minister and accepted Sasikala to be CM of the state. But, he revealed a few facts that are creating waves all over India.
After stunning rebellion with his series of tweets, he said that he could not meet Jayalalithaa even once during Jayalalitha’s treatment days in the hospital where she died on December 5.
“Visited hospital daily to enquire about her health condition but did not meet her even once. Every day, my family used to ask me, did you see Amma, at Apollo hospital. Even felt like saying yes, I could not tell lies,” said Pannerselvam.
The great loyalty of former Chief Minister said he had doubts about Jayalalithaa’s treatment which should be answered.
Mr. Pannerselvam last night said that he was forced to resign by Ms. Sasikala, who was elected by the party echelons to take over as Chief Minister. After Jayalalitha’s demise, Tamil Nadu has been going through a lot of political turmoil.
On the other hand, Sasikala is prepping up for searing in a ceremony on February 9. But there is great dissatisfaction among people of Tamil Nadu as well as leaders of the state. Let’s wait and see what is going to happen.
