Two Engineering Graduates Duped Flipkart of Rs. 1 Crore and 152 Phone Devices

JAIPUR: Two engineering students Rahul Meena 20, and Dharamraj Meena 20 from Jaipur had duped Flipkart with their false remarks stating that the company had delivered them with empty boxes that lacked the products they had ordered online.
In this manner, the duo had managed to beget Rs 1 crore and 152 lines of mobile devices from Flipkart, one of the famous e-commerce firms.
On 24 September, Manoj Chudhary, the zonal manager of Flipkart had left a complaint with the Superintendent of Police Sawai Singh Godara about the anonymous gang that had swindled his company of Rs 1.05 Cr and 152 worth phone units.
On Friday, Rajasthan Police have busted the inter-state groupie of online fraudsters along with the arrest of its two aforesaid members.
The Jaipur city police initiated deep investigation and arrested the two. They were produced before the court and were sent on a six-day police remand.
The dodgers, Dharamraj and Rahul had a history sheet as old as one and a half years where they were ordering luxurious mobile sets with different pseudo names, IDs and abstract residential addresses. They were even refunded with a hefty sum of amounts earlier by successfully making a false claim.
The police have also arrested five other individuals who were also involved in pseudo purchase and resale of the mobile devices.
