LUCKNOW: A few days after Mr. Yogi Adityanath has been appointed as the CM of Uttar Pradesh; the government has started to work on serious matters like women safety as per the BJPs promise. The operation has already commenced with every district of the state to form an anti-Romeo patrol.
Hazratganj, the heart of UP’s popular urban town in Lucknow, witnesses a powerful anti-Romeo squad group of 30 cops actively on move at around 4 pm. The Squad led by the Deputy Superintendent of Police also includes 5 women constables.
The Anti-Romeo team cruised around Hazratganj's posh locality to look for potential troublemakers or eve-teasers. Any young men visible alone or in groups instantly catches the attention of these anti squadrons who pounce on them with unnecessary questions.
The Uttar Pradesh DGP Mr. Javeed Ahmed assures that these special forces are not organised to harass people but to execute a severe action against the mischief-makers.
